Quitters and L4D

Why does every single person on Left 4 Dead love to quit out of games all the time? My friends and I like to get on Live together and try to get some versus matches going, but we run into the same problem every time. People will do one of the following:

1) Join the lobby, and exit within five seconds of joining.
2) Quit randomly during a match, no matter who is winning or losing.
3) Quit after one map loss, even though they could easily come back.

What is up with this? Not only does it take us forever to find four people to play with, but we rarely even get to the second map of the campaign without getting kicked out because all of the opposing team quit and going back to the lobby to search for players again.

First, you cant assume that everytime someone leaves its because of the game.

Second, It happens to every game because it isnt with the game, it's with the gamers.

Third, when people do leave, alot of times they have good reasons. maybe they dont like the voices of their teammates. Maybe they dont like their opponents tactics. Maybe the got invites from other friends to play. There are a number of possibilities.
