Yet another L4D WTF.

Just wanted to share yet another Left 4 Dead WTF that happened to me and my friends today.

So all four of us are running towards the church in Death Toll 3 with extremely low hp and no medkits on expert. I'm running first, just a few seconds before I pass near that wall on the left (right before the church) I see the tank waving his hands with anger, I'm yelling to everybody on the mic to fall back. Luckily, the tank haven't spotted us yet so we're starting to make the plan, we find an oxygen tank and throw it right next to him to pull him to the open as it explodes.
As the oxygen tank goes boom, we run like hell back towards the road, after a few seconds of pointlessly running we discover that the tank is not following us, at first we thought the oxygen tank didn't hit him but as we go back we see the tank is DEAD.

Now the question is... WTF?

tank may have gotten stuck, and if it gets stuck and cant move after 30 seconds its /kill not really a wtf, just a lucky break for you guys

I thought about it too. But it didn't really seem like it was stuck, that wall is thin, we would see his something pop out of the wall.

If you manage to get a certain distance away from a tank after you attack it, he dies. he doesn't have to be stuck you just have to run your ass off till the music stops.

One time i was playing versus on no mercy part 2 and i KID YOU NOT 16 witches spawn on the gas station. So im like what the fuckkkkkkkk. Then my friend shoots the gas station killing some of the witches. Long story short i 12-14 crazy bitches eating out my friend. LAWLZ The other team got three Tanks. lol



BTW it was a friend who was spectator admin.

I once had a friend spawn as many witches as possible and I shot into the middle of them. They got up all at once, and my game crashed.

Yeah I had a real anti-climactic Tank encounter on Blood Harvest Expert, 2nd map once. He spawned near the start in the warehouse and we were all going 'oh dear, here we go' - Then he fell off the ledge, got stuck under some piping and immediately snuffed it without us hardly even hurting it. I guess the AI-D was feeling particularly nice that day :S

We blew up a Witch in the gas station once on No Mercy and then couldn't find her, though the crying continued quite loud. She seemed to be trapped under the fallen roof of the gas station pumps and couldn't get out. We could hear her screaming and crying all the way through the sewers and up to the next safe house. Really weird.
