Do any of you guys know if Valve is going to release any more patches/updates for L4D?
If they do, when will it happen?

They will definitely be adding things to the game and patching it. No release times announced yet, though.

That's the way Valve have been working for a while now. You can be sure that there is stuff coming, but it's usually taking a while and being released shortly after you have first heard about it.

Right, that too of course. Often they are stalling you for quite a while and then you suddenly see an update downloading without a warning. ;)

Apparently with L4D this will change. They're also working on an Orange Box update for you.

New update yesterday, really crap one.
The melee-fix was good though.

i heard xbox is gonna get update on the 26th ?

The XBox updates take longer for many reasons. For one thing they have to code the patch for the XBox, then they have to get MS to give them the go-ahead, which other companies have complained about.

I'd imagine they didn't want to go through the hassle of getting MS approval until they had a few patches done, as opposed to releasing just the first patch or something and having a longer wait for further fixes. It's probably better that way.

It's Valve, it will happen when it's done. I'm hoping the most recent small update is their last &quot;to-do&quot; before patching the 360. I'm sick of hearing my console friends complain about exploits I don't have to worry about anymore.
