freezing and skipping but video isnt bad

Hi, i just bought a new Radeon hd4670 video card and i also have amd 8450 2.10ghz processer and 2g of ram but when i cut on l4d even in the main menu it skips and freezes i got the update patch and play on steam...also i watched the intro story line with no problems...what else could be wrong??? plea

but seriously, the problem is probably the fact that the setting are too high for your video card.

a 4670 should run the game fine try to delete or rename the intro backround that helps some people and update to drivers also try to disable multi core in the menu

i know i put everything on low and med and also disabled the mendo render or whatever its called forgot to tell you that part

just noticed also when i went to check that it doesnt freeze on the parts you think it might would, it freezes on any thing like if your walking by urself with no zombies
