Hitpoints?

I was wondering for the guys that play tested l4d, is it one shot in the head one kill? Or do I have to pour a whole magazine into an undead to put them down?

I think there quite weak hp wise and headshots are a one hit. Well thats what i think i read :P

yes,they have low hp,so u can plow down like 5 zombies if u Spray-n-pray right into the horde of infected :) tho,they hit hard and out number u in secounds,so u better run before they surround u and hit u like a Football ;) AND They got there big mates called Boss infected. You dont want to meet a tank while trying to save ur mate from being smashed to mashed potatoes. These infected are creepy man..u always have to whatch eachothers Back :P

From what I read, infected have very low health, I heard 3 round spray in the chest will take one down. I'd assume one shot in the head= one very very dead undead.

On normal difficulty they infected have very low health. Headshots (except from pistols I think) always result in a kill.

That is one of the million things i will love with this game. on every other zombie Games/mods u always need to shoot like 2 mags to get them to kiss the ground O.o

Do you hit the head? I know Brain Bread had 1-3 headshots depending on where you hit, because you could blow the brain off, but not the entire "head"

I hope its kinda the same for L4D... lots of gibbing :)
