yeah you need Steam and no, it shouldn't slow it down.

I dont know about whatever you said, im not a technical kinda guy. In fact, i didnt even buy this computer. I got it free from a bank when the folks got a loan to start up a business!

Right click on "My Computer" and go to properties. It'll say "X.XX GHz"
hopefully its GHz and not MHz cuz then IDK if you computer would handle Steam.

That's our chatroom, it's active. Pretty positive we have the largest ban list of any group too. Pirates/spammers argh.

If you got banned from it, talk to a mod about it. They may be able to say what you did wrong or help you get unbanned.

You can make Flash/C++ chat rooms for VBulletin, a forum I used to go to had that.

Going to a new forum would solve all of those problems for you.

Anyway, speaking of new stuff. Whatever happened to the updates for the forums I read about a while back? When are those going to be released, and will they contain a shout box/chat room?

Who is this we you speak of? Mostly kick not ban with flaming after we ask several times to stop.

Yeah, well it used to be that we didn't care about flaming unless some people were trying to have a srs L4D discussion, and yeah, if a mod says no more, then you would get kicked if you kept it up.

But it used to be fuuuuuun. Remember when Squerl did that contest?

Exactly, I mainly go to l4dmods.com but sometimes come here for news that they don't have, but 411 doesn't even have that anymore.

Also,
The Steam Chat really needs to be moderated. It's just a spamhouse at the moment
