Why is 50% of the campaign servers analfucked into having Versus mode?
Isn't the normal Versus Mode enough for you????

Apparently not because even Blood Harvest and No mercy Campaigns are deuche-bagged into this shit.

Do you people have any idea how hard it is to get a lobby started up, consisting of good players that aren't in your friends list? And then some wise-ass' server fucks the whole thing up because he and his sex buddy likes to play custom campaigns on Versus mode.

WHAT, do you people have against campaign mode?
SOME people enjoy taking a break from all this fucking Deathmatch/Team Deathmatch nonsense and having a nice and fresh Co-Op experience.
If you don't like it, then go fuck yourself.

If you want this shit on your server, then make the server private, so we won't have to deal with this shit 5 out of 10 times.

Havent run into any yet, I have a solution.

I dunno why, but for some reason people treat clans like an auto salesman, but really, if you pick the right one, then your set. You say you dont like competition, if thats the case, then there are several clans that focus on getting together a group of people that just wanna have fun. I however, wont recommend my clan. We are big into versus

I've only seen this happen once and the server we got on had crap ping so we insta-suicided and quit. We didn't even notice it was a versus server till scores came up after we killed ourselves. Just vote to return to the damn lobby and search again.

If you have a complaint about the servers, try complaining to valve, because the people here won't really do anything but valve may be able to fix something with their search. I have only experienced this once though, and it can't be too big as nobody else I know has really experienced this. Just return to the lobby and search again.

My clan is pretty awesome. We have our own server and I pretty much only play with them on our server. Works out really nicely. We pretty much only play versus though.

I don't know if that helps, but there is an option under Options-->Multiplayer, called Custom Content. You can set it to none. Or just return to the lobby, like stated before.

The One, I think we have already established that the best place for 4chan is actually 4chan and not this forum. Please don't overdo the whole thing.

Every time a video game that is released includes some form of deathmatch mode on maps that are rip offs/alterations of the single player modes, you have to drink one glass of Vodka.

I still thing Versus mode is better. You are forced into using teamwork. It's more difficult and intense. And finally, you get to play as infected.

Yeah, because Left 4 Dead features two identical teams, you respawn when you are killed, and it doesn't require any teamwork.

Honestly though, I use teamwork a lot more in Co-op than I do in Versus, at least on the Survivor side, and still survive a lot less. IMO, Versus is fun, but it gets a bit - gimicky after a while and I need some normal Campaign play to get the feel of L4D once more.

I just play stock vs 90% of the time, I don't bother with maps that aren't meant to be played on vs.

I never ran into this issue.

However I just played a full VS campaign in advanced... No need to say no one really won but arrgh in NM 3 we died in the streets out the sewers... sigh it was so close.
