I' am aware that L4D will have whats called gibbings or dismemberments, So i was wondering if while y'all shot away at some infected, notice an arm or leg fly off and had the infected still come back at you e.g crawl, hop, drag or did they just die once u fatally wound them?

Yeah, I specifically remember heads and arms being blasted off and seeing the arm flying. Not sure about the crawling, don't think we experienced that.

Something to remember is that the nature of our forums seems to be such that many posts tend to wander and touch on a lot of different questions. Many questions have been answered in posts that have absolutely nothing to do with the original post. We don't mind repeated topics and don't expect everyone to have the time to read through everything. Yay for anyone who uses the search but it's okay, we don't mind repeating ourselves when its talking about such a great game :).

That being said, no zombies never really got back up after any serious limb loss. So you shouldn't expect any torsos trying to drag you down like the buggers in Half life 2.

yeah me too deadly..it would be nice to see limbless infected still trying to kill you even after they've lost a body part, it's a must have in the undead universe! turtle rock should really look into this feature.

Technically, given the story of the game, these guys aren't "undead" in that sense. They seem to die like any normal person would when infected with some sort of mutant super rabies.

Well they can take some pain but apparently they can't keep going after some serious limb loss. It's more like a rage that lets them ignore a few bullet wounds, but if it could kill a person, the Infecteds going to be dead too.

I guess you right but judging from the game play they seem pretty oblivious to pain as the others get shot around them and they keep coming back..would be good addition to the game if they implemented this in either a few infected throughout the game or maybe for the boss infected..it would give u a sense of hostility and violence they have towards you (the none infected).i say we start a petition/survey and get this to turtle rock.
