Untouchable SO HARD!

Title is truth i have all acheivements for L4D (360) except Zombie Genocidest and Untouchables anyone got tips on untouchables

Set the difficulty to easy and sit on the rock at the edge of the map past the dock on DT 5. When a tank comes, have someone with a shotgun drop down and run around to draw the tank's rocks. The rest stay on the rock and unload with ARs. Rinse and repeat. Watch for smokers in the water and a hunter when you make the run for the dock.

We got untouchables on Dear Air. Set it to easy and have all 4 people grab hunting rifles. Then go to the closet next to the big open area between the buildings and the crashed airplanes. If everyone uses their pistols to mow down the hoard and rifles to kill hunters, smokers, etc you can conserve ammo for the tank. When the tank comes, everyone needs to move out into the open and spread out just a little bit. If everyone unloads a full clip into the tank he will go down in about 10 seconds. This was how we did it, and it only took about 5~6 tries.

Does seem like this would be an easy one to cheese with a full server of friends on versus. Not that thats much of an achievement that way.

Mine happened accidentally, and pretty stupidly. Some friends and I were playing Dead Air, and on the 4th map, when you're going through the airport, right after the Van minifinale, you go through these little short square ducts to enter the baggage area, and the tank spawned back in the baggage area and he got stuck when he tried to crouch through the square entrance, so we just stood and shot him. It was kinda stupid. we were all kind of annoyed. But we've made it through other times without getting hit. just very lucky dodging...

If everyone stays on the roof and only one jumps down to open the jesus room/call in the rescue. You can go idle in the jesus room and you spawn near the safe room or back up where your teammates are. If everyone has auto shotguns. They can just pistol the zombies that climb up and obliterate the tank when he climbs up. Assuming youre doing it on easy, the tank wont take more than 2 steps towards you before dying and the zombies should never make it near you. Its how I got it. Easy enough, to do. Since no special infected and get to you up there, if you crouch on the opposite side of the smoker instant kill side. Where the vents are.

I hopped into a game in progress and we somehow got the achievement by camping the radio room in BH. go figure.
We just kept on killing and nothing touched us. Part luck if you want to do this legit.

You can go idle in the jesus room and you spawn near the safe room or back up where your teammates are. If everyone has auto shotguns. Yes, bug or exploit, whatever you want to call it. its not a hard glitch to exploit, i helped like 30 people get untouchables and they all at least took like 40 damage too, during the finale even and they got the acheivement so its a pretty big bug.. but its still useful as hell :P

Was on a dull streak trying to get it, so I flicked on Dead Air /easy, with the bots.

Set up a defense behind the plane, with my back against the run-way. Bots picked off anything that got near pretty much.

As for the tank, they somehow managed to dodge its rocks and took it down quick, but maybe I just got lucky. A better way would be to run up to the plane so that it spawns and gets stuck behind it (make sure you clear infected out 1st though).

I just finished it on Dead Air with bots.

1. Use Zoey so the bot Zoey doesn't grab the hunting rifle. Use a shotty.
2. Clear the area and make sure you have a couple propane tanks.
3. (This is the easiest way to explain where to go) Mount the mini-gun and then exit out. Look at the nose of the plane you fly out on. Now do a 180 degree turn and run in that direction. (you end up running directly at a truck that looks like the refuel truck, run past it towards the building in the back.) Thats the corner you want to hold up in.
4. Place one tank on the ground at the tail of the wrecked 747 with the red trim
5. Place another tank on the ground next to the tail-fin of the other red trim 747 (the one that intersects the 747 we did in step 4)
6. Place any others near the fuselage of the first 747 (building side of it)
7. Hit the valve and run into your corner. If the bots don't group up well, shoot up in the air and they should join up.
8. After your first wave before the tank comes run towards your tanks and wait for the tank.
9. hopefully you aggro him and can dodge his rocks. The tank will come from either side where you set up the p-tanks or he will come over the top of the fuselage. If you can blow a tank and stun him it should be easy to clean him up.
10. rinse and repeat the next wave / tank.
11. After finishing off your last tank run to the back of the plane and run past it. This will keep the bots running towards you. once the door is almost open charge it and get inside, run to the back of the plane and pray.

EDIT- FHS_Justice posted a video above that pretty much shows what I did.

(Lame... I thought I was alone in that... I wasted so much time on Death Toll trying it with bots. I got so close a couple times.

I do DT finale on easy and go to the dock. The bots take care of everything except the smokers, which is why I used the HR; snipe it out as it spawns. When the tanks spawns, it spawns pretty far away, then all I do is snipe as much as I can, watch out for rocks, keep shooting at it, and if it doesn't die while being far away, it'll die when it approaches the bots.

Wasn't all that difficult. What I need now is "Nothing Special".

I tried for awhile on Death Toll by going in the corner of the map near the rock. The bots can take out most stuff and if you get 2 good tank spawns it's fine. If you get a tank that comes from the side (near the dock side) it can be tough. I had it a couple times but a bot would fall off the dock or take their sweet time getting on the boat and a tank's rock would come outta the trees and hit them.

Dead Air was much easier.

i almost got mine while going for the Red Mist achievement .... i had 3 AI teammates and we took no damage. The helicopter arrived so we ran towards the landing pad and i saw a boomer, my AI Team mates took care of it but just as they did a smoker grabed me and pulled me up to the side of the part you jump off of and i got 10 damage just as the helicopter doors open ..... i feel bad now :(

Yeah, this one guy joined our game in the finale, and started out idle. He let the bot play until the truck came (Blood Harvest), then clicked the mouse, became un-idle, and got Untouchables.

Every time I get close to this acievement someone on my team accidentally shoots someone else. Generally the code sentence is "Hey if we keep this up maybe we can get the Untouchable achievement." Two seconds later someone's going to be shot. In fact generally the sentence goes "Hey if we keep this up maybe we can get the Untouchable achiev- oh shit sorry dude, I guess we can't now."

you can just camp you in the corner near the boat dock and shoot evrything in sight and have a pimp bomb and trowth it when second tank is dead rly easy :D

There's a glitch in DT 5 where you can go on a rock and during the finale only a few infected spawn. If you turn off your lights and don't move the first tank won't find you. The second one will and you'll have to kill it. After that just run to the dock not getting hurt.

Though I got it legit by just standing on the dock and whooping ass.

i was a survivor and my friend was an infected on NM.i killed all my bots and went under the helipad ramp and just shot the horde in bursts (about 1 bullet for every group) then my friend controlled the tank an i killed him...i did this about twice and got the achievement as the chopper flew off
