its a program called iz3d its a driver but for the full 3D you need monitor 3D with spacific glasses not those red/blue or any color
btw 3D requieres at least 75hertz monitor so if you have dvi monitor forget it
bcuz 75hertz will flicker usa vga instead
those glasses are pain in ass after some hours

It should be funny, but tiring with time.

I don't have any 3D glasses, but making them myself shouldn't be hard, right? Just need some colored foil sheets.
I'm so gonna do this! :) Thx for posting.

From the guide:
"Next, it changes from the default red/blue lenses to the superbowl colorcode yellow/blue lenses."
Guess this means we need to replace the blue lens with a yellow one, or just skip that part. hmmm, will have to try this when I get back.

this link accommodates the different lens colours
red = blue
yellow + blue

God dammit, WHY can't I have an Nvidia card?
Does the game have to render everything twice? i.e., a big performance hit?

I have been disappointed in the past by games with '3d' in the title yet none of them working with my 3d glasses. Now they've finally integrated it with l4d, and there isn't even 3d in it's title!
By the way, using Jaws 3D as an example for 3d is a terrible choice. That movie sucked, ya digg (http://digg.com/movies/Jaws_3D_was_a_Terrible_Movie)?

No dude, it's supposed to look like that. The glasses combine the colors to make it 3D.

That is how it always looks with normal 3d glasses, I usually don't like these, since I have a astigmatism, where 1 of my eyes has different focal length than the other, so for some reason it destroys the 3d effect for me, and leaves me with a headache from multiple colors... I think if I want to play this game in 3d I will have to use the nvidia glasses, since it alternates frames...
