That they should do some infected boss sided footage to see how the gameplay looks on that side? like looking for the smokers eyes for example

I was thinking of making a thread like this a few hours ago. So much survivor footage and no infected. Really makes me think the infected side isn't even ready to be shown..

The lack of infected footage is because no-ones played infected side at the public demo's. Hopefully the first official gameplay video they release will be of the infected.

With the learning curve being what it is for the Infected side (steep), putting total nooblets in the hot seat at a public playtest would be suicide. People would get frustrated and start howling, "this is teh suck!" We need to see some Mike Booth as Hunter "over-the-shoulder" action. That would be the money shot.

One of the interview videos on..Gamespot? I think, has some footage with someone playing a Boomer. You can see his bloated arms and such as he's stalking the survivours.

I could care less about boss footage UNLESS... It's some crazy 1337 Hunter wall jumping ackshun.

They wont do bosses at a public play test because the infected side is probably harder to learn and takes a while to get used to. Where survivors you can just pick up and shoot at the infected.

No wai! 1337 strategist in the forum!

Mike Booth should do a demo... perhaps do a dozen 1 minute reels on the bosses special abilities, kind of like those videos of TF2 showing off classes.

That would be stupid, well to me. The only thing I would like is the video and footage. Everything else I probably read somewhere.

I think you're absolutely right, and even if the infected boss side was as complete as Survivors, I don't think they'd really want people jumping right into it. It can be really frustrating and you die A LOT until you get used to it, and even then you die a lot. It wouldn't be a very good use of a few minutes demo.
