We're saying early 08. There's a lot of stuff including our own big, big giant product coming out this fall. And really we just want to make sure that when it's released it's great. This is a game people are going to keep playing for years and we'll keep updating, but we just want to make sure of that when it's released

This is an excellent interview like Squerl said, not that crap on IGN and whatnot.

But also Steam allows us to do a lot of cool things that other companies can't do - it allows us to do free weekends, it allows us to let people try out the full game. And so we're going to do some cool stuff with that. We're talking about it

Very good article! Deserves it's own thread imo. (The article is from Jan. 31st) What got my attention was this sentence:

Es wird [...] einen richtigen Einzelspieler mit Storysequenzen (geben).

Meaning: There will be a proper singleplayer with story sequences.

Probably means that there will be a singleplayer-only mode with cut scenes?! Maybe I'll write a proper translation of the interesting parts later... (google translation sucks. :P )

I'm rather surprised that this hasn't received more attention than the various random threads that inevitably surface when we become bored. This is semi-new media and the reason for its lack of attention might be the lack of a good translation (google was a bit of a pain to use) but it deserves more attention than the three or so posts about it. : ( I'm talking about the German article by the by if the obvious hasn't occurred to you yet.
