A question of feasibility

I'm not trying to get a mod going, or suggest anyone make one. I'm simply wondering if it would be feasible to spawn infected and special zombies in the same way L4D does, but in different source mods, like DoD, or Dark Messiah? I would really like to chop some heads off or mow down infected with my MG42.

More like port the maps and weapons to L4D.

HL2 and episodes with L4D gameplay... goddamn I so can't wait for the SDK and ppl to start mapping.

I want them to update Gmod with all the official crap. Not simply portin the crap from l4d into my gmod folder. Like a real update from team garry. It be real sweet.
