So I'm looking to buy a new computer under 700. I'm no techie, so help me out here. Three computers caught my eye at cyberpowerpc, so tell which would be better for gaming. I'm not a graphics whore, but it would be nice to run settings on High for once and have a decent framerate. I've been missing out on a lot of games lately because my laptop sucks male anatomy.

Mega Special II (http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/Mega_Special_II/)

This look fine and dandy? Something that semi-concerns me is the power supply. There are two 650W Power Supplies, the "Logisys ATX12V/EPS12V Silent 12CM Power Supply PS650U12 " (The one I chose). And the "Corsair CMPSU-650TX - Quad SLI Ready " For 60 extra dollars. I'm not going to spend 60 extra dollars. The concern part is that there is a 580W power supply for a dollar cheaper. Am I losing something by taking 650W Logisys ATX12V/EPS12V Silent 12CM Power Supply PS650U12?

(Christ it's been 3 months and I've still haven't bought it yet.)

Do not order from cyberpowerpc.com

my comp is from cyberpowerpc.com and I fortunately got off pretty lightly in relation to some others. But the company is shit. Order from buyxg.com. They work in the same building, use the same warehouse and have mostly the same stuff. Just buyxg is a better company.

cyberpowerpc will change the parts in your computer if they run out of what you ordered without asking or telling you until you open the box and find out they have tweaked your bill accordingly.

Their tech support despite being slow, is totally inept. I had to diagnose and fix my own problems because I did not want to format and reinstall windows or send it back to them the day it arrived as tech support told me my only options were.

My problem was they gave me a POS power supply that would randomly die and thus randomly reboot my PC. sent it back to them and got a refund on it and bought a new one from frys.com fixed the problem.

Did you ever have to call tech support?
Did they run out of any parts on your build?

My first gaming rig came from www.IBuyPower.com
They let you choose all the parts for a reasonable (not great, but reasonable) price. If you can have a friend who is a techy run you through some good (but cheap) parts on Newegg or something, you can go through IBuyPower's Configurator and simply choose all the parts you want. They will build it, install everything (windows, drivers, etc.), and then ship it to your exact location.
My first rig never had any problems and I bought it for under $800. It was actually an OKAY computer, but I upgraded it over the years to become what it is today.

Steve Cloud is actually planning on ordering his new rig from IBuyPower Australia too.

I've had no problems whatsoever with IBuyPower. And they have a warranty.
Also, I almost forgot this old thread but Oblivion made a guide you might find interesting.

Yeah, they ran out of the 9600GT I wanted, so they gave me an OC'd EVGA Brand.

Try finding a more established brand for headphones.

Go to 5600+, as it's .1 GHz slower, and you can auto-clock it back up no problem, and you'll save money, and it uses only 60W instead of the 6000+ 130W

If you absolutely want it get 64, but I recommend 32.

And, get those Sony Studio headphones for 20 bucks at wal-mart. Not bad.

Total $751.00

That was about as decent as I could get. If you absolutely can NOT go over $700, you might need to save up a little longer. The system above has no keyboard, monitor, mouse, or speaker system. It IS able to run any game and get a good FPS though. The case also has good airflow (and it GLOWS).
