Steam not syncing files to SteamCloud.

Hi guys, first post here. Normally Left 4 Dead runs just fine -- but this morning it was being slower/more laggy than usual, and was wondering if anyone has come across this problem and how I might go about fixing this?

Is the message I get - it'll load and whatnot, but when I go into a versus match, it will start to lag on me really bad for the entire 5 maps. Any ideas on how I could go about fixing this would be appreciated.

Well Steam Cloud's only purpose is to save your controls, spray, and possibly video settings. Maybe your video settings changed and your computer can't handle it.

Yeah, I'm getting that today too. It's definitely a Steam issue.

Alright, thanks. One of my friend's just now got the error, so it's not just me being effected by this :). Hopefully it gets resolved soon (rather annoying have it pop up), but now I get to try and figure out why it starts lagging on me :P.

they are getting the steam cloud into tf2 so be patient xD

That has a lot of the same icons as my desktop, and your wallpaper is kickass.

But on topic, I've had it say syncing... on steam when i try to load up l4d and had it stay that way until i restarted steam, but I've never gotten that message. Just turn of steam cloud in options.
