I submitted a title "Project Origin" but so did a 1000 other people I bet, anyway I also suggested "IGN suxx0rz"

Anyway, I was playing as Alma on a zombie server, kick ass!

They are dropping that expansion because it was a different company who made it and FEAR 2 is just starting new after the first one. No expansion needed.

You didn't miss much. It really didn't advance the story all that much (if at all). Still fun, though.

F.E.A.R. 2 doesn't feature the F.E.A.R. team in any way, instead you're some kind of Delta Force or something. So really, what happens to the F.E.A.R. team in the expansion has no bearing on the story in F.E.A.R. 2, as it revolves around different protagonists (who appear on the scene 30 minutes before the end of the original game, just as all hell truly breaks loose).

No... I bet the Point Man will be in the game... He'll probably be the replacement for the Asian chick for you, if he starts talking. They can't just discard him, considering he's the son Alma and brother to Paxton Fettel, the two main antagonists the whole story revolves around. But then again, they might not have rights to him, like they don't have rights to the name F.E.A.R... Anyway should be a good one... F.E.AR was awesome for what it was... going to be hard to make it better gameplay wise.

They actually have rights to ALL characters in FEAR. So those other guys who are using FEAR (the name) they have to make up new characters.

The guys who have to make up a new name, Monolith, the main character infact is not Point Man like Deek said. They are not forgeting about him. They said though your guy does have to reactions and slow mo.

Well obviously, thats been confirmed.

Anyway, point for reviving the dead topic. Is there any footage yet? I was under the impression it was show at E3 or some other thing, because of the IGN First Look, but nothing ever came out of it... No way people saw it and just left without recording... or was it private?

Anyway, game is going to be great. Loved the first one. Only time I actually tensed up was in the vents when she started crab hopping at me.
