Idea for what the animated shorts might be.

We know that there are going to be short videos released (a la tf2) which are probaly more serious tone. I've been looking forward to these and have been speculating on what they might be.
I think something like other surviors stories would be awesome. You know the airtraffic control tower on DA 5? I've allways thought a failed last stand in there would make an great video. It could intertwine with our surviors escape so the video could end as the plane comes crashing down and the last survior gets hunter raped.
Other situations could include the incident the helicopter incident in nm or the devasted aemybase just before the DT finale

For anyone who plotted their course chronologically through the campaigns they'll know theres a lot of unanswered questions (between DT and DA why did they leave the couple on the boat? or... after getting rescued on DA how come they end up in the middle of the woods on BH?)

I'm sure we'll see a lot of otehr survivor story videos released when the SDK comes out so people can develope their own skins properly. We Shall See...

I'm not sure about the aftermath of the rescues because basicaly it would be the surviors sitting in a vehicle then crashing. Meh. The main reason I want to see other people is because doomed last stands are always the most awesome bits in zombie films.

About how they finally bunched up together, before even knowing each others like all of them in a pub while the infection is dicovered or something like that.

I can't remember where I read it but it's said somewhere (soon after the realease or in the commentary itself) the movie will not be about the story (?!) or maybe it was not about the survivors... Can't remember well.

I would love to see the airport in Dead Air before and during being overrun, because it just seems like it was one of the spots hit the hardest due to the amount of bodies piled all around the airport alone.

It might start some uproar but I wouldn't mind an update that just includes cutscenes between campaigns. Can come out whenever I know there's more to do but most of the character development was in the intro and the no mercy elevator which I had time to listen to really. And when louis goes on about trains and Francis tells him to shut up.

Id like to see something done for L4D like what they did for Dead Space. A few short movies that show the events leading up to and a little after the infection. Then they could easily make a movie like DS: Downfall :)

Maybe they can make some videos showing what happened pre-infection and showing the 4 survivors lives from a little before the infection to when it got out and started to spread and how they came to meet.

Though, that would be kind of strange since the 4 campaigns don't relate to each other from what I know. Maybe up until the intro movie.

Actually, I can imagine some sort of lead-up to the actual infection, maybe the now common shaky cam with an 'actual' person filming the events, probably running into or travelling with the famous four survivors for a while before meeting his inevitable end.

The only problem with this is that you'd have to do a vote skip if you were to tag them on the beginning of every campaign, and some people would just be dicks and choose to force everyone to sit through it.

I have a feeling in the 1st two weeks the infected still had alot of human traits seeing as in the intro Bill notices their blood and says "they're changing!" then they 1st meet the witch and everyone seems off caught by the smoker, the hunter I dunno if hes been there all the time but when they see the tank I think that's the 1st time they see it because of how Louis asks run or shoot. So maybe the game itself takes place when the infected fully mutate into specials
