I was with my brother showing him a bunch of videos of L4D and there was one at Quake Con where a Staff Member of L4D or Valve (not sure) said L4D is coming out Early 2008

I dunno, he's a mere concept artist (or something like that.) I'm going with him for now, but I am still skeptical about his qualifications. I'm fairly sure its no long before we hear the same thing from Booth but...
