A number of people not able to connect to Steam today.

Looks like I am one of a number of people who are unable to connect to Steam suddenly. Are any of you having this problem, or have any overcome it? I'm sure its something on their side but since many are still on, it seems strange.

Well my steam just crashed, (like usual) and now it seems that im having the same problem.
It says connecting to steam, but nothing happends

Mine crashed just now, I was able to get in after a while... after a couple tries... it also says Steam is Updating... but thats AFTER I opted to go back to normal STEAM and remove the beta stuff... that maybe just that... Pretty big update unless STEAM is going slow as usual...

well it was happening all day but it seems alright now. There were a few people on the forums with the same problem as well. I just like knowing its not on my end :P Thanks guys.
