Dealing with the people that join in and immediately start shooting u down, jumping off a building to get incap'd , or hasn't taken the time to play some single player and familiarize him/herself with the game before playing VS online, which results in a completely relentless pursuit on trying to get this person to LISTEN to your suggestions for the benefit of the team, is just one thing..
Now I have to deal with hackers. ALREADY? YOU EFFING SERIOUS?

VAC is in work on all Valve games and catches people who hack or cheat.

Oddly enough, Left4Dead doesn't have VAC. I don't think anyway.

If it does, i never noticed an icon or whatever in STEAM to signify it was working.
I dont know why you edited my post. Those are free distributions of demos through my webserver. They are proofs of my argument with STEAM Identification for server owners to put into their banip.cfg so that we dont deal with hackers regularly.

Edit this if you want, but I am trying to help the L4D server community since no one else seems to care that they are playing with hackers.

Just finished watching the two demos. TBH, he really was a pretty poor player even with aids to the point that, beyond him locking on to two hunters suspiciously (the obvious one being around a minute before the end of the second demo) and some funny little alterations in his aiming, I could have believed he was genuine. To be fair though, the main cheating I've knowingly come across in my on-line gaming time is pre-Punkbuster America's Army and those hacks lacked everything in subtlety!

Beyond that the two demos were very entertaining :o) Not seen a survivor get shut out by just the second set of lift doors! (and lol at the guy threatening to rage quit because of it) Also, great molotov up the ladder from yourself to get the smoker at satellite tower (not seen that one before) and you pulled off some nice smoker pulls too.

Really not keen on your teams survivor finale tactics though!

Anyway, added the ban to my UK server for what it's worth, but I doubt he'd find his way to it anyway.

I don't think L4D has a VAC. I remember DTard said he was VAC banned from all game servers except L4D for no reason, and odds are the reason he wasn't banned from that game was because it doesn't have a VAC.

VALVe isn't stupid enough not to include VAC. Type "openserverbrowser" into the console--the servers will have the VAC symbol.

I'm glad I got here before the mod took down the link to the demo, and i saw for myself it was an aimbot.

Oh and why be one of those silly little kids and do a rage quit because one person on the other team is hacking, I would have done the same and recorded him and done my best to kick his ass.
