Hi, I'm planning to buy a new comp and can you guys please tell me if it can play left 4 dead and newer games like dawn of war II with good graphics and these are the specs:

Intel E7400 (2.80G) 3mb 1066fsb C2D
Inno3D 9800GT 1gb ddr3 2dvi 256bit
4 GB RAM

a amd athlon 3800 and 2gb of ram with a 8600gt....can run the game near max (my friends "on it's last leg" rig)

Been able to run L4D even with specs a little below the announced system requirements. The only negative impact I've encountered so far is slightly increased loading times and inability to host locally (or else your own framerates drop too much).

I'd spring for the intel e8400 if you're going to build it yourself, you'll be much happier in the long run.

Overclock that e7400 immediately it takes 5 minutes of work and you can achieve close to 4ghz with any decent air cooler. Ive been running mine at 3.8ghz for 6 months now, no issues fast as hell beats my friends e8500 and im getting a score of 14250 on 3dmark 06 which is impressive for a 100 dollar processor
