The thing that I don't like is that taking cover gets me killed more than standing in the open. Because you get downed and can't shoot anyone. Also NPCs seem to be able to throw grenades farther than grenade launcher.

Yeah, IMO it's kind of a repeated formula that they really didn't innovate all too well. To me, it seems like a generic FPS with Diablo 2 elements thrown in. And by D2 elements, I mean the random drops, stats, etc. Diablo 2 isn't the only game that has done this, but it is far more well known than others.
Yea I know, but this is where Google led me. So far the only solutions for not hearing whatever is infront of you is... don't use your headphones. And I really want to use my headphones. Monitor speakers is really not ideal in my situation.

The point of cover is to stop being shot though, so how are you dying?

Don't forget axes. They can throw axes with pinpoint accuracy from across a map.

Get surround headphones, you're probably dealing with Stereo, they just do left and right.

Yeah, that works but 1) They are not mine, 2) They are freaken huge, 3) It has no microphone. Thanks anyway. Will do for single player.

Update 1.0.1 Notes:

- Characters that have lost skill points will have the lost points refunded
- Clients will no longer lose proficiency progress upon leaving a co-op game
- Item cards now display the intended five lines of detail text
- Lilith's Phase strike and melee attacks from Phase Walk now function as intended
- Voicechat: users can now control volume and individually mute players
- Fixed a bug that sometimes caused CL4P-TP to stop progressing during the introduction
- Server browser population times have been improved
- Server information should now always display the correct plot mission
- Benchmarking feature now works as intended
- Nvidia 3D Vision visuals now render shadows correctly (requires minimum 195.28 drivers, available from nVidia)
Remember it's a console port, they don't care.

But hey, they fixed my Lilith!

Just bumping, I take back most of what I said dissing this game. I got it for christmas, and I have to say it is pretty good. But boring alone... Anyone want to play? Though 99% of the online matches I have tried to connect to have failed. I port forwarded and everything, yet I can't connect to anything. So if anyone want's to add me, my Gamespy ID is "TheShadowStreak"

LOL, Reminds me of when I had sledge's shotgun.
I was mordecai and a brick comes running at me in a berserker. We were ontop of a mountain. I shot him off it and he died from fall damage.

Brick was made to bum rush enemies. The idea is to get the second wind when you're face to face with your enemies.

I heard it's fun but short, and left 4 dead style since 90% of the enemies are the run at you kind and there is usually a ton coming at you and fast.

EDIT: after searching the borderlands forums, a lot of people use game ranger since the online service is terrible. So I will be trying it out for a while. I'll post about it when I'm done.

Brick is the best character, he never needs medipacks of any sort because whenever I want to heal all I do is atcivate my power. Plus nothing is as satisfying as punching some shitty Bandit in the face and makin him explode at the same time.

P.S. This game is Shit.

I've been using Tungle to get online play.
Too bad the online is so shitty, it could of been A+++ Material.
However, the game is insanely addicting, so I can tolerate it.
