The start of this video is our second try at the finale, right near the cornfield. A witch is near and Frogopus tries to take her out. When she’s already standing up, she’s really hard/impossible to sneak up on. Frogopus fails and I enjoy watching.
The cornfield mini-finale starts at 1:30 and we have the same strategy as last time, a couple of us getting up on the tractor. It doesn’t work quite as well with only three people – me and Jaime both go down right away, Chris and I get puked on and Jaime dies. I die, and Chris melees for his life but ends up dying. Attempt number 2 done at 2:40.
Try number 3 is at 2:45, and starts out badly with the Tank at 3:40. Our strategy here was to let him burn and run far, far away. Jaime got knocked down but not for good.
At 5:02, I hate Hunters.
5:50 we try a new cornfield strategy. We try to run directly to the house instead of staying at tractor. 6:10 shows that a Hunter disagreed with our plan, two of us knocked down and somewhat separated. I get helped up and am at third strike at 7:05.
Thank you health kits, 7:25. Check barn for supplies at 8:30 and signal in help (start the finale) at 9:45.
At 11:25 we encounter the halftime Tank. Chris gets knocked down, then Frogopus, then Smoker gets me, Chris is killed, Frogopus is killed, Boomer comes, I go down quick and die.. Jaime on her own, gets puked on, surrounded, attacked by Hunter, and dead. Attempt 3: Fail.
Try #4 starts at 12:40. At 13:30, Tank comes again. Ugh. 13:40 Chris throws propane tank and explodes it near the Tank. Both propane tanks and oxygen tanks (the tall green ones) will knock back the Tank and stumble him for a couple precious seconds. The Tank doesn’t like that, so he gets on top of the train, throws a chunk at Jaime and takes her out in one shot. The Tank catches up with Chris and kills him.
At 14:45 our bad day continues with Jaime down, then Frogo, down to 20 health and a Boomer pukes on me from behind. We died, and film was done.
We were able to make a couple more attempts at the finale but to no success. Past 3AM with a flight in the morning means no victory for us.
