Left 4 Dead 411's First Birthday - 1/12/08

Exactly one year ago, Left 4 Dead 411 was born. We weren't as fancy back then; a plain black background and only a few pages. The only information that had come out so far was the announcement of the game, a GameSpot interview, and the teaser trailer three days before. To celebrate our first birthday, we have updated our 'about' page with a full history of the website, why it started, and pictures of the several designs we've gone through.

After you read that, head on over to our recently launched fan fiction section where we have just put up community member TheDark12's story based in the L4D universe, titled The Forgotten Survivors. It's a very good action-packed story worth your time, with more chapters on the way.

We have a couple new pages that we haven't pointed out before. We now have an Infected section filled with information on the regular infected and each boss, with links to specific screenshots containing those bosses. An Xbox 360 page has been set up to keep track of what we know about that version of the game. Our previously empty strategy page is no longer so bare. Keep checking in on our new screenshot and video sections for links to all the latest media.

It's been a year, and strangely enough we find ourselves in the same position - waiting for Left 4 Dead to come out in the summer! In the past year we've gone from a couple people posting on a shoutbox to the most active Left 4 Dead forum on the web, with over 40,000 posts! Our Steam Community group has one of the most active chats and serves as a nice hangout for our great community.

We've survived for one year, and we hope for many more! Make sure to read the new 'about' page and then head to the forums.
