Achievement Stats, Screenshots, Witch Bug - 11/25/08

Valve has released statistics on the achievements in Left 4 Dead, listing all achievements and what percentage of players have them.

The most common achievement is Drag and Drop at 73.5% of players, which is rescuing a Survivor before they take damage from a Smoker's tongue. 29.7% of people have completed the No Mercy campaign, 27% for Death Toll, 24.9% Dead Air, and only 19.3% for Blood Harvest. It'd great to be able to see total play time/attempts at each of these maps to see if some campaigns are harder or if people just haven't played them as much. One of the most surprising was that only 2.1% of people have survived a campaign on Expert. That doesn't do much for those of us asking for higher difficulties.

The L4D stats page has plenty of room for more tabs, and we hope Valve fills them up! Seeing stats like these is pretty interesting.

Apparently the Witch will not attack you if you stand directly behind her. We're hoping Valve is planning a patch soon, the exploits are piling up.
